10000Thoughts.com provides an online service that permits you to create, post, email and view intentions, gratitudes, stories, pictures and other content for the purpose of helping others better their lives and allowing others to help you better your life. To enrich our members' experience, some personal information is displayed with other site content. Members can change their profile information at any time and can control how other members and the service communicates with them.

Information Collection

10,000 Thoughts collects user submitted information such as first name, email address, state of residence and age to personalize 10,000 Thoughts's services and to send to users notifications relating to the 10,000 Thoughts service. 10,000 Thoughts also collects other profile data including but not limited to: personal interests, gender and occupation in order to provide members with the ability to identify and familiarize with other 10,000 Thoughts members.

User Profile information including members' pictures and first names are displayed to enrich the community experience. Email addresses are used for the purposes of sending notifications related to the service and for inviting members to 10,000 Thoughts. A user's email address is not shared or displayed on the site. We may also use a user's email address to send updates, a newsletter or news regarding the service. Any user may “Opt Out” of any or all email services through our website.

From time to time, 10,000 Thoughts or a partner, may sponsor a promotion, sweepstake or contest on 10,000 Thoughts.com.
