Wow!! Wow and More Wow...
When I first came to this site I was still working to assimilate the lessons the "Secret" has to give. I had already seen how in that short time things were starting to take shape. I had (at 46 years of age) chosen to change my career direction from a technology based one to barbering. I really enjoyed learning to become a licensed barber. I even enjoyed working as a barber, but sadly was not getting the clientele I needed to make ends meet and quit my night job.
Instead of letting these circumstances get me down I just continued to know that things would work themselves out. Then, in walks in my mother in law (who until only a short time prior was my mortal enemy, figuratively speaking of course) but we had had our fair share of disagreements.
She had started a charity and it was growing rapidly. While at the same time beginning the process of transitioning from an all volunteer organization. With the goal of creating a professionally managed mission oriented charity. I was hired to bring in my IT and web development skills. All members in the organization were quite happy with the work I did and has turned into a position with a consulting firm as their Web Designer.
So now I'm still working very hard but I'm doing things for my family and my own happiness. I see where this is going and have started to learn the value of living the journey. I am tired but now truly happy.
I get the chills everyday thinking about how this all really works and now I'm reaping the benefits.

Hopes for contiuned success...
I am truly happy for you that you are in a successful and rewarding career. I wish you much continued success with all that you do.
May all my intentions be positive.
Happy for you
I am so happy for you, sometimes when we want/ask for something we normally get what the Universe/God thinks we deserve for our highest good. I believe you will be successful in every path you take. Many blessings to you and your loved ones always.
Good to hear
Very excited for you that a good opportunity opened up! My only curiosity is that you said that you wanted to transition to barbering, but now you have transitioned back into another IT job. Was that really your intention? Does that make you happy, or did you really want to be a barber? As long as you are happy, great!!! If you are still tired, you may want to reset your intention to having a great career that suits all your needs, including your need for adequate rest. Love and Light to you, always!!! :)
Barbering vs. Technology...
In my previous iteration of techie geek, I worked for a company that was an hour commute away and not in the area I really enjoyed working. The barbering allowed me to express my creativity and work with people directly. As a Web Designer and owning the company its much, much more rewarding and I'm able to develop creatively. So there really are no compromises only good opportunity.
Happiness is as Happiness does... :)
Cheesy, I know. But I'm happy none the less
