Tonight I sit and consider all the lives who have touched mine and those who have loved me, taught me, been patient with me and even those who have hurt me. I am grateful for them all.

I have three exceptional children, one of which has a rare chromosomal abnormality and has been my greatest teacher in life. My husband is beautiful inside and out and has been my heart for more than half my life! I have an amazingly abundant life and we are deeply in love, held together by faith and trust and embraced by joy!

I have had many challenges in my life; dysfunctional family, addiction, miscarriages, anxiety, abuse and poverty. I have survived and so much more...I learned to live. I do not fear challenges today because I have hope and faith that anything and everything is possible with the help and love of others. I believe in the power of thought and prayer because it has given me the life that I deserve. I am grateful I found this place so I can help others and myself embrace what is ahead.

Life throws us all a curve once in a while, and it's our perception that shapes our experience into a blessing or a curse.

I could go on and on about how I've had my curves, but I'd rather say I'm thankful that I understand that it is I who put the silver lining upon the cloud.
