There is so much hope!

I am grateful for my son's teachers this year. They are highly-trained, seasoned professionals that will help him become a fluent reader. I am grateful for the specialized school that he attends.

Background Information:

My 8 year old son has dyslexia. He struggles with written language every day. He is smart and inquisitive and he works hard. His struggles have illuminated my life and have grounded me in the importance of raising, primarily, a kind and compassionate child not necessarily an academically competative child. Since my panic attacks over all of this have subsided ;), I've learned to breathe and give him time to find his way on his path.

I am so deeply grateful for my life. It has been only recently that I could say that and truly mean it. I am so in love with life.

Background Information:

I have three exceptional children, one of which has a rare chromosomal abnormality and has been my greatest teacher in life. My husband is beautiful inside and out and has been my heart for more than half my life! I have an amazingly abundant life and we are deeply in love, held together by faith and trust and embraced by joy!

Grateful for my daughter's life improvements!

I am so grateful for my daughter's life getting back on track, and her healing from her assault. She is a bright, beautiful light and I am so blessed that she is in my life!

I love my exceptional friends. I love that life allows me opportunities to create new friendships. I am humbled by the rich blessings of friendship that I enjoy. My friends are like family to me.

I appreciate the well being of my family. I am grateful that my children have never had to know what it is to go hungry, physically or spiritually.

Background Information:

Appreciating the blessings in my own life has inspired me for two decades to support and assist those not so fortunate.
